The Argentine government, through the State Asset Administration Agency (AABE), auctioned a property previously owned by the Argentine Federal Police (PFA). The plot, with an area of almost 10,000 m², is located in the Bajo Belgrano neighborhood and occupies an entire city block delimited by Echeverría Nº 1175, Cazadores S/Nº, Juramento Nº 1142, and Artilleros Nº 2017/51/81. According to the Noticias Argentinas agency, the developer Argencons acquired the entire urban plot. Quo Quesada, Ciudad G3, Santagada LINE, and IRSA also participated in the auction, offering between US$40 million and US$45 million. Through Resolution 65/2025, published in the Official Gazette in early November, the government officially removed the property located in Belgrano from the jurisdiction of the PFA. The property was used by the Argentine Federal Police as a vehicle repair workshop for infantry, a fire division, and a forest brigade. The Ministry of National Security had requested the relocation of these facilities. In response, the AABE reassigned two sectors of a building at Zepita Nº 3102, in the Barracas neighborhood, to the PFA for use as a repair and maintenance workshop for heavy vehicles and the seat of the Cadet Music Band. The government of Javier Milei auctioned off one of the most sought-after properties in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Belgrano. Argencons, whose majority shareholder is Eduardo Costantini (with a 51% stake), won the bid for the property, paying a total of US$46.5 million.
